Women Talking About Sex | Poetry Book and App Design
This book features poetry written exclusively by female-identifying poets, concerning the scope of sexuality. Each page offered different typesetting to evoke the mood of each respective poem. I wanted the design to be delicate and feminine (which yes, meant using millennial pink, sorry), but also have an underlying air of sensuality, which I conveyed through certain layouts and photographic imagery that serves as the background of several spreads. I also proposed the design for a mobile app version of the book, which keeps a similar style but uses more screen-friendly typography.
